關於我 About Me
I was thinking that my transition from Senegal to Taiwan would be very smooth but this was not the case. The first thing who was very terrifying was not to come to Taiwan but going first to Nigeria before coming here in Taiwan. The why I went first to Nigeria was that in Senegal we do not have embassy for Taiwan, we do not have any diplomatic relation between Taiwan and Senegal thats why I went to Nigeria.
Before going to Nigeria I was 90 kg for my weight. Fortunately I knew someone there who took me a hotel and helped me took a taxi because there is big traffic. But I had a lot of stress thinking about whether I will get my visa or not. I finally got my Visa after 4 LONG DAYS and finally got to Taiwan on June 20 with 83 kg. Coming in Taiwan the first thing was the intensity of training we were running everyday but they welcome me and Omar helped me to do the presentation and he also helped me a lot during my first days here until now here he become a brother for me like the others players.
The first problem was the food I never expected that one day I will get used to Taiwanese food but now its ok for me. First days I was just eating McDonalds and one shop that Omar told me to go. But now I buy food by myself and almost all the shops that I go to buy the boss knows me. Taiwanese people are very kind really.
After come the problem of language, in Senegal when you say something very difficult that no one can understand they tell you << what you just say sounds like Chinese>> just to tell you how difficult we think that Chinese is. And now I can buy and take the money rest I cannot talk with Taiwanese people sometimes I understand sometimes I do not but I am improving on that way.
雄鷹趣事 About Team
I enjoy working in a team environment, and I get along well with people. With a good head-coach and a nice assistant teacher here we have the best environment of training you will not find anywhere. I think I have good teammates they are funny and young. We have transformed from strangers, to teammates, to family. For the way that you care about me, and give me advice. From my love life, to my grades, to me becoming a better player. Your there to pick me up after a bad practice or a bad day with making jokes, help me when I am sick and above all just to check in and make sure that everything is okay. You are there when I need help going to the doctors, getting a ride to go to buy food or ordering foods or some problem of classes. You have all believed in me and everything that I am trying to do, even when I didn’t believe in myself. You have listened to my problems and gave me tough solutions when I needed it. You always have my back, and knowing that I have my entire team on my side if something went wrong is the best feeling in the world.
Between the long days of training, the late nights to do recovery, the many laughs, the nicknames, the wins, the losses, the tears, the crazy group chats, and the coaches we all hated, we have been through a lot of things together and became way more than just a team. The team is like its slogan family everyone take care of each others we do not care about age. Even the oldest can take advices from the youngest and its just humility nothing else it’s the culture of our team. As a person our Big boss is awesome. Incredibly cool, has a lot of qualities I really admire, especially (but not only) his sense of affairs and having a lot of responsibilities. I can hope I’m a little as cool as him when I reach his age. I have never seen him mad at us.
政大趣事 About NCCU
The last year passed in this school was one of my favorite year in my whole life. I have never expected that really. Coming in this school and studying with these persons made me feel how much I can help and how much I need to be helped. I found very good and kind students also teachers. They gave me a very good welcome and took good care of me. Every time I went to class even if I don’t speak the language correctly the students tried to explain me as much as they could using sometimes english.
Also they really tried to to know about my culture, my past, my life, my religion. I’m very thankful to be in this school, to be in this environment with these classmates from my department or others department because I sometimes meet some students from others departments everyone is the same here. I will never regret my choice to come in this school because they have all the resources that I needed. It’s a big university with good teachers with big classes and safe school.
The thing I like here is the relation between the seniors and the freshmen. It’s awesome, this is one of the most respectuous thing I have never seen. For example if a freshman is older than the senior the freshman need to show respect to the senior and it’s not only the freshman who shows respect also the senior need to show respect, this is very important in this school (NOT ONLY). The culture of respect is very important in our school that’s why we need to show respect to teachers with saying HI 老師 who means Hi teacher.
In this letter I want to say thank you to all my classmates who helped me and all my teachers from my department ethnology. I like my school and I’m very proud to be in this school. Also the thing I like in my school is that the freshmen look like they were here for longtime because the seniors already thought about making some club to put the freshmen in their environment helping them for a good adaptation.

The championship this year was just the the accomplishment of hard working we worked very hard this year. Unfortunately I didn’t start training at the same time as my teammates because I had surgery after our last season. But they fought very hard and I was trying to catch up my late after coming back from injury.
This year was filled with a lot of emotions angry happy any kind of emotions we have been through that this year. I can openly say that this year is harder than last year and my teammates would agree with me. We start the 6am training so early this season and that pays off. The coaches did a great job for pushing us and get the better version of us. The players also did an excellent job because they didn’t give up no one give and I can tell you we had chance to give up.
Personally I wanna say thank you to our coach 期新 for taking care of me taking care of everyone by tapping us every training and also coach KG for his energy he brings at every training. Thank you to the head coach for giving me the chance to play for him and play for NCCU GRIFFINS and also thank you to our assistant coach for the being the same person all this year.
A great thank to our big boss 姜董 for giving me the opportunity to come here and help the team win championship. I thank the teachers for understanding us as student athletes also thank to Stanley who brings me in Taiwan, I would never thank you enough. I also wish good luck to our seniors this year who maybe played their last seasons with us. Thank you.
Let’s go griffins, keep the same motivation the same energy and let’s win another trophy next year.
